Enigma’a business model is based on a partnership approach and works with a range of Consultants, Coaches and Strategic Partners who come with a wealth of experience and are subject matter experts in their fields, this encompasses both clinical, non-clinical partners, research, and business support.

Our partners and associates support our ethos and are like minded individuals, who enhance Enigma workforce capacity and are part of our project delivery teams. My Story, My Transformation, My Journey

Building on a successful career in the National Health Service (NHS) since 2005, Samina decided to diversify and launch her own business, Enigma, integrating her passion for improving the patient experience of care, transforming services, and effectively managing and delivering change with developing people through coaching to form Enigma CCS, the company.

Samina holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science and has over 19 Years of experience working with the NHS, Health, and Social Care Sector. She has a strong commissioning, change management, procurement, and transformation background in service redesign, developing and implementing new models of care, streamlining pathways and transformation, and working within complex health and social care systems. Her work has been in collaboration with stakeholders, system partners, joint commissioners, providers, and patient groups. She has worked with industry, local authorities, primary and secondary care, public, private, voluntary, and pharmaceutical sectors across different disease areas.

She is a specialist Change Management consultant, accredited at the Practitioner level in PRINCE II and MSP, experienced in managing and delivering complex change at the system level, across multiple partners, and stakeholders and supported high-profile national and regional procurements.

Samina has held Assistant Director Leadership positions within Commissioning, Strategy and Performance, driving commissioning and transformation through teams. Samina has worked her way up the NHS chain from the grassroots level (Patient Choice Co-ordinator) to senior leadership positions, deputising at the
director level. She recognises the value of life-long learning for personal and professional development and growth.

Part of the team that won a DHS-sponsored “Good Commissioners” award and nominated for a Laing and Buisson award (Mental Health Joint Commissioning Team). Samina was recommended by SHA for her work and achievements on the Patient Choice programme which resulted in a visit to 10 Downing Street. She was part of the team that received the Orthopaedic Assessment Triage Service Improvement Award for East Birmingham PCT. In 2016, Samina was invited to attend Cogora roundtable events in the capacity of a subject matter expert/commissioning adviser, alongside other clinicians, and patient experts.

In 2021, Samina completed the Aston Programme for Small Business Growth. She has strong business acumen and understands the complexity of delivering business change alongside effectively managing risk and the issues faced by the NHS, its staff, and the wider health economy, including the Corporate and
Business Sector.

Samina is a fully qualified Coach, a DISC-accredited specialist, and an NLP Practitioner. A member of the International Coaching Federation. She has completed the Protégé Programme with The Coaching Academy, Europe’s largest coach training provider, holding diplomas in Business Coaching, Corporate and Executive Coaching and Personal Performance/Life Coaching.

Samina specialises in Business, Leadership and team coaching for purpose-driven leaders and their teams, boosting new ways of working to enhance high performance and making change happen. She collaborates with clients to support their transformation and development a cross various areas, from career management, leadership, empowerment, mental health, confidence, resilience, team transformation, business growth and personal change.

Samina is also an Associate for Primary Care Commissioning (PCC) CIC, as well as a trained facilitator and Mental Health First Aid instructor. Samina has facilitated community, stakeholder and employee engagement events and workshops to inform strategy, and local action plans to reduce inequalities and give communities a voice. Samina has participated in several independent reviews for NIHR/Health and Social Care Delivery Research, in a reviewer capacity.

During her youth, Samina has been a highly active community member having held several voluntary and non-voluntary positions across the Hospice and other voluntary institutions. As well has having worked for her local Acute Hospital as a Health Care Assistant (HCA) on the staff bank and as a Team Leader for the AQA Examination board processing GCSE/A-Level qualifications during summer holidays. At the same time, Samina worked as a Customer Care Manager at a McDonald’s for over five years and is very customer focused. During her time with the company, she participated in service assurance reviews. Recognised and praised for her outstanding customer care, received employee of the year, and three & five-year service awards. From an early age, she has been proactive in keeping her fitness levels up, through swimming, zumba, training on cross trainer and working with personal trainers. Samina is passionate about self-care.
